WHAT IS A HOSPITALIST?

Hospitalists are Internal and Family Medicine physicians providing hospital-based care while keeping the Primary Care Physician informed on the treatment plan.

The goal of a hospitalist is to provide excellence in hospital care and return the patient to the PCP for follow.  Our doctors are readily available 24/7 in the hospital setting, can be easily contacted and are able to facilitate the patient’s care in a timely manner.
