Dr. Johanna Yunk, MD, has been a steadfast member of the Advent Health community since 2010. Alongside her tenure, she stands as the co-founding member and manager of Celebration Family Physicians. Specializing in Family Medicine, Dr. Yunk's interests encompass hospital medicine and administration. Her unwavering commitment to wellness resonates deeply, driving her mission to deliver unparalleled care to her patients. Dr. Yunk graduated from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology. She pursued medicine at St. George’s University, where she earned her medical degree with Honors. After completing residency at Florida Hospital (now Advent Health), Dr Yunk served as a hospitalist at the Advent Health Celebration and Apopka Campuses. Over the years, she has held several leadership positions including Chairman of the Department of Medicine and currently serves as the Medical Director for the Surgical Unit and an Officer of the Medical Staff at the Advent Health Apopka Campus. Rooted in her Filipino heritage and nurtured amidst the vibrant culture of New York City, Dr. Yunk has made Orlando her home. Beyond the corridors of medicine, she enjoys every opportunity to travel and savor international cuisines. However, her greatest joy lies in the cherished moments spent alongside her beloved husband and four children.
